This is the place to get away from it all. Newly built house in the country side, situated between the mouths of two rivers. Private beach, rich bird life during nesting season. Floor to ceiling windows on the ground floor, gorgeous views from first floor. Equipped with all necessary amenities, interior is a charming mix of old and new. White floors, two balconies and a veranda/porch. Yoga mat and aerial yoga swing. Outdoor fire pit. Hammock, barbecue and seating for outdoor entertaining.
The space
The house is very private although not remote and stands on a 1,3 ha private land which is fenced off. Entrance is through a gate which guests must operate manually.
106 m2 (1140 ft2) on two floors, 3 bedrooms, kitchen/dining, two living areas, laundry room and bathroom.
The house is accessible and available in all seasons, just off the main road (Barðastrandarvegur 62). In summer the birdlife is rich and beautiful light nights may be enjoyed with spectacular views of nearby mountains, sandy beaches, rivers and Snæfellsjökull glacier. During the dark winters the northern lights are often visible.
Guest access
Guests have access to the whole house and surrounding land and beaches. Everything is yours privately during your stay.
