The space
Spacious house with outside area, terrace and barbecue in the heart of the old town. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Free internet and easy free parking on the street. Lively, buzzing authentic neighbourhood by the sea. Traditional house with wooden shutters and doors, original floors and madeira cobbled stone floor outside. Perfect central location in the capital city Funchal, by the sea and main attractions. Decorated with large comfortable beds, furniture and original artwork. A planet-friendly house with solar panels that due to its thick walls and location does not need air conditioning or heating most of the year. We use local craftsmen to build and repair the furniture, trying to keep most of the house fitted locally.

We are open and welcoming guests to Vintage House . Madeira Island has maintained a low Covid rate, making it one of the safest places in the world.

Stairs to reach second floor are steep as its an old house, and the second floor that has 1 bedroom and bathroom has limited ceiling height. Large sea view terrace makes up for the climb when you get there.
