Villa Solbacka is a charming artist's home, built in 1913 and located in Billnäs, just 10 km from Fiskars village.

The beautiful windows and other architectural details give the house an unique atmosphere. The house is decorated with solid old wooden furniture, many of them handmade. There are two fireplaces in the house. Outside the master bedroom there is a sunny balcony.
The building is surrounded by majestetic pine-trees and maples. In the outbuiling there is a sauna and a small terrace.

The space
The villa was drawn by architect Max Frelander and built in 1913.
Our philosophy has been to save its genuine atmosphere as much as possible, and not even try to make everything modern. We think, that natural wear and tear which comes from decades of use on furniture or surfaces is really beautiful.
Our aim is that the villa and the solid old furniture together will create a unique unity for you to enjoy.

The house is 130m2, so there is plenty of room.
Downstairs there is a kitchen, two living rooms with fireplaces, a small bedroom (one single bed 80x200cm), a hall and a toilet. The sofa can be made to a bed (114x190cm). There are books, comics and board games you can use. Small tv.

Upstairs you find the master bedroom with an antique double bed (155x190cm), another bedroom with two single beds (90x200cm each) and an oldfashioned bathroom with a tub. There are wardrobes with hangers and shelves for you. There are also two air mattresses (150cm and 99cm) available. Outside the master bedroom there is a sunny balcony with a small table and 2 chairs.

If you have small children, please note that the staircase has no safety gate.

The kitchen has a fridge with a freezer, a stove and owen, a microvawe oven, a coffee machine, an electric kettle and a toaster. You'll find all basic equipments for cooking and meals. There is also coffee, tea, sugar, salt and pepper.
There is also a folding table if there are many of you.

In the outdoor building there is an electric sauna with a shower.

Enjoy the natural ground with big trees for shadow and the sunny terrace in the outbuilding. There is a garden table and 6 chairs that you can place whereever you want in the garden. Charcoal grill and 4 beach chairs. There are also some outdoor games at your disposal.

Free parking.
The villa is close to the road, so you can hear the traffic.
The house has no aircondition, but there are fans in all bedrooms.

Other things to note
Checking in is from 6 pm. Checking out at 12.
