ACCESS The apartment is located on the second floor of a typically Portuguese condominium building; therefore, no elevator is available and access to the second floor is only via two flights of stairs. KITCHEN On entering the apartment, you will find a modern, galley style kitchen which is fully equipped with everything you will need to prepare a tasty meal. LIVING/DINING SPACE To the right of the kitchen is a comfortable living/dining space. This relaxed room incorporates a comfortable sofa, a smart TV and a dining area seating up to 4. BALCONY The living/dining room benefits from access to a small balcony which has been fitted with a balcony bar along with bar stools. This is the perfect place to sip on your morning coffee or sunset wine and watch the world go by below. BEDROOM 1 The first bedroom is located at the front of the property with its window facing towards the street. Due to this, noise cancelling ear plugs are provided. With these and our super comfortable double bed, you will be sure to have a cosy night's sleep. BEDROOM 2 The second bedroom is located at the back of the property. This is the more peaceful bedroom of the two, however ear plugs are still provided for those light sleepers. The bed in this room is a small double bed. This room also benefits from a height adjustable, standing desk for those wishing to work away from home. Upon request, guests can also have use of a screen, keyboard and mouse during their stay. BATHROOM The modern bathroom is located between the two bedrooms. With a large walk-in shower, with a recently fitted waterfall shower head, guests will be sure to feel pampered after a long day at the beach. WINTER LONGER STAYS (28 nights or more) For those heavily discounted longer stays from November to February (2023/24), utilities such as gas, water and internet will be included in the rate. Electricity will be charged as used and paid for through the Airbnb platform. A cleaning service is offered every second week during which bed linen/covers and towels will be refreshed. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the property. A large, free of charge parking area is located only 300m away. Other things to note The property is deep cleaned and sanitised between each booking. For stays exceeding 7 nights, upon request, we can provide a weekly cleaning service during which towels, and linen will be refreshed. As I personally travel a lot and also do a lot of work online (I have been in over 70 other AirBNB spaces as a guest), I have tried to make this space comfortable and efficient for those who need to get work done without distractions or for those who want to relax or read in peace, decompress and chill out. Guest access The condo and patio is all your space. The outside the building and pool are shared with the other owners / guests of the building. Since there are only 8 units in the building you will have a lot of peace and quiet overall. Most of the time, less than half of the units are occupied, as these are holiday homes used mostly in the summer time. You will often have the pool to yourself. The roof terrace with it's sea views, lounge furniture and mood lighting is perfect for evening drinks. This is a very private property. Guests have access to golfclubs and 4 bikes, we advise you bring helmets. Includes a nespresso, smart TV, smart kettle & high speed broadband as well as maid service for stays of over 6 days. The space Our roof terrace has a charcoal barbecue for evening entertainment or lounging on the furniture located up here too. There are 2 sun loungers here as well as outdoor lounge seating, perfect for watching the sun set. There is a private terrace off the master bedroom with 2 sun loungers for private sun lounging. There is a large terraced garden at the back with 2 sun loungers, gas BBQ and dining table for 8/10. There is a gated front terrace with outdoor breakfast table for 4. We have high speed broadband (up 70Mb) and a smart TV for your streaming needs. The kitchen has all the equipment necessary to cook up a summer feast. It also has a nespresso machine and a smart kettle. Cooker, hob, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, blender, juicer, iron, pots, crockery and equipment. There is air conditioning through out the house. There are three bathrooms, with one en-suite to the master bedroom. The back garden is laid out as a terrace with lovely shrubs. The master suite has a large private terrace. It has a king size double bed with good matress, en-suite shower room, private furnished terrace and fitted wardrobes. The family bed room has a single bed and a double bed as well as fitted wardrobes. All mattresses in this room are good quality and deep sprung. The family bathroom has bath, shower, double sink, WC and bidet. Down stairs the guest toilet with WC and sink. There is a Smart TV for streaming, and an office desk with monitor, keyboard and mouse to connect your laptop to. There is a working wood burning stove for stays during the winter where the weather is a little cooler than the summer. Guest access Full access to the house, only a lock up out front, linen press and private wardrobe are locked. We have 4 new bikes that you are welcome to use, locks are on the bikes and you need to use them. You will need to bring your own helmets. We also have a set of golf clubs that are available for use - we haven't used them in a long time!
