This flat is located close to Grandi and in the middle of the old harbour neighbourhood. Alþingi, Tjōrnin, Harpa, Hallgrimskirja and all the best restaurants are within walking distance. We live here when we are not on holiday. Please consider that we have two birds that will not be in the flat, but if you have allergies to bird feather, please do not book this apartment. The space The house was built in 1920. We have a beautiful garden. The entrance is on the second floor ( the Icelandic first floor is groundfloor;-)). In the living room there is a nice desk with two monitors and a docker for work. High speed internet is included. The two bedrooms are cosy, one of them is with a single bed 120 X 200 and facing to the street, the other bedroom is with a double bed 180x200 the window is facing North with a beautiful view to the Esja. The bathroom is tiny, cosy with a shower. The kitchen is fully fitted out. Chairs and table in the garden to enjoy the midnight sun this summer in Iceland. You are welcome! Guest access Pay parking in front of the house, but the nearby streets have free parking. Five minutes walk, at the old harbour the parking is free and easy. Other things to note Feel free to water the plants, use the books and other things you find in the flat. Kindly place everything where you found them.

Lovely apartment in Laugardalur Reykjavik. There are three bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen, a cosy living room and a wide hallway that can be used as a playing area. The apartment is fully furnished and equipped. In two bedrooms, there are large desks with computer screens and good chairs ideal for remote work. There is free parking next to the building. The space The apartment can accommodate a family including 2 children or a group of 4 adults if people are ok with sleeping on a sofa bed or a mattress on the floor. The apartment is on the second floor in a five-level house located in a quiet neighbourhood a short distance from downtown Reykjavik. The apartment is 105 square meters / 1130 square feet with two bedrooms; the larger bedroom has a small balcony with two cheers, a table and a BBQ grill. One playing room can be used as a bedroom with a mattress on the floor. The living room is big with a dining table. Bathroom with a washing machine that is also a dryer. Then there is a kitchen with a table for four people and has all the needed facilities including a dishwasher. When entering the apartment, there is a wide hallway that can be used as a playing area. Beds - 1 large bed 180cm x 200cm. - 1 sofa bed 120cm x 200cm - 1 floor mattress 90cm x 200cm (two of these put on top of each other)

Laugardalur Reykjavík Condo

This is the place to get away from it all. Newly built house in the country side, situated between the mouths of two rivers. Private beach, rich bird life during nesting season. Floor to ceiling windows on the ground floor, gorgeous views from first floor. Equipped with all necessary amenities, interior is a charming mix of old and new. White floors, two balconies and a veranda/porch. Yoga mat and aerial yoga swing. Outdoor fire pit. Hammock, barbecue and seating for outdoor entertaining. The space The house is very private although not remote and stands on a 1,3 ha private land which is fenced off. Entrance is through a gate which guests must operate manually. 106 m2 (1140 ft2) on two floors, 3 bedrooms, kitchen/dining, two living areas, laundry room and bathroom. The house is accessible and available in all seasons, just off the main road (Barðastrandarvegur 62). In summer the birdlife is rich and beautiful light nights may be enjoyed with spectacular views of nearby mountains, sandy beaches, rivers and Snæfellsjökull glacier. Fantastic two bedroom apartment with a view on the top floor in a bright residential building in a charming old district of Reykjavík. The apartment is only minutes walk from the biggest thermal pool in Iceland and is also close to the very center of the city. The space This apartment has a nice view and in a beautiful old four story residential building. The apartment features a bright living room, a kitchen, and two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed with a memory foam Tempur Original matress. From the master bedroom a door leads out to south facing balcony with a nice view. The sofa in the living room folds out to a bed which sleeps an adult or two children comfortably. The second bedroom also has a 80x200 cm bed with a Tempur Cloud memory foam mattress. The room also has a workstation with a desk, Steelcase Gesture ergonomic office chair and a 27 inch LG UHD 4k Monitor. The apartment can accommodate 4 adults easily. The bathroom was renovated recently and is fully equipped with new appliances and tiled floors. I provide towels. There is a fiber internet connection and wi-fi which guests are able to use - so the internet connection is very fast In the bathroom there is a top-load washing machine. In the cellar there is a room which guests can access a drying area. The kitchen is very well equipped to prepare meals in and has e.g. a new stove, microwave oven and Nespresso machine. It also has a dishwashing machine. The living room also has a 55" ultra HD tv with Playstation, Netflix and apple tv. The apartment is also equipped with Sonos wireless home sound system (two speakers). I am happy to advice guests on any questions they might have in relation to their stay in Iceland. Guest access The guests will be able to access all rooms in the house. The guests are also welcome to use the washing machine and drying area in the cellar of the house. Parking space is not a problem since there is a big parking lot infront of the building free of charge. The apartment is located within walking distance to the centre downtown area. A walk downtown can be completed in around 30-40 minutes. Guests can enjoy a nice bit of coastline during that walk - with just 5 minutes walk to a beach. There is also the option of e-scooters that are everywhere so you can also scoot down the seafront into the city centre in only 10 minutes. There is also the option of a bus that goes directly into the center area.
